I took a chance on this cologne and am glad I did. I know its an old school brand. I am old and had never used it so maybe that is why its a nice match! The cologne kind of splits the gap between the heavier pine scents and the lighter Nautica type scents. I wish I would have gotten spray instead of splash but that my only complaints. Ladies like this scent!

This is not the original scent of Royal Copenhagen. I have used it for years love the scent. After reading the reviews I was concerned that I might be getting a revised version but when I saw the advertising photo of the cap with the gray strips and not silver stripes I thought I was OK. It arrived with a silver stripped cap and not only does it not smell like the original but it smells BAD. I still had some left in my old bottle and ran a blind smell test on several friends and all had the same opinion. I will be returning and am very dissapointed.

My husband’s favorite & he has worn it for decades. He smells great!I hate most of the new fragrances for men & very, very few work on my husband. Seem to be more trends than fragrances meant to be worn & enjoyed long term. Very happy to find this on Amazon.If you know this fragrance, & like it, than I recommend this purchase.

Warning if you buy this item you are not able to return. Box was damaged slightly opened look like it was used don’t know if it’s an old product or it’s simply just old item and time has evaporated some but the bottle was not full more than three inches worth of it was gone try to return or exchange it there is not an option. Very disappointed. This item is hard to find and it was for my dad 82nd birthday.

My husband has worn this scent since I met him 40 years ago, and we both love it. It’s the best manly scent I’ve found (other than Prada for men Amber, but who can afford $100?). This is a really nice cologne, and I can’t imagine my husband without it. And honestly, I wear designer fragrances like Coco Chanel, and yet I prefer this over all the other colognes my husband could buy!

I love the scent of Royal Copenhagen but this smells nothing like it did in the 90’s…the scent is off…dull not rich and smooth as I remember it to be.

Do you like how you smell after leaving the barber shop? Then you will love this scent. It reminds me of the powder barbers use. Soft (not overpowering), but lasts a long time. This is a Cologne Splash which means it does not come in a spray bottle. You do have to be careful with a splash or you can put too much in your hand. Luckily, this is a big bottle. Eight ounces is quite a lot. Give it a try. It’s been around a long time and is different than most of the strong men’s scents being put out today.

I have used Royal Copenhagen aftershave on and off for years, so decided to try the cologne. I am very pleased that the scent is the same, I only have to use much less, and it lasts all day.
